Am I Enough? A Content Creator, A Mom, A Woman Just Trying to Figure It Out

I had one of those moments the other day—the kind where you sit in silence after putting your kid to bed, staring at the wall, wondering if you’re actually doing okay or just running on fumes.

As a content creator, I constantly ask myself, Am I enough? Am I creating enough? Growing fast enough? Making a big enough impact? And as a mom, that same question lingers in the back of my mind: Am I giving her enough? Enough love, enough patience, enough opportunities? Enough of the things I never had?

Comparison is a nasty little thief, and lately, it’s been robbing me blind. I scroll through social media, seeing people in the same space absolutely thriving, making six figures, going viral overnight, living the dream. And here I am—trying to piece together a life that feels good, that feels sustainable, that doesn’t just look successful but is successful in a way that actually matters.

Motherhood and business have this funny way of making you feel like you should have all the answers. But if I’m being honest? The older I get, the more I realize I don’t know a damn thing. I used to think I had life figured out—had a plan, knew what success looked like, knew exactly who I was and where I was going. And then, real life hit. Motherhood hit. Bills, responsibilities, navigating friendships as an adult, building a business, trying to grow into the best version of myself while still healing from the girl I used to be.

And suddenly, I’m just here, having a WTF moment every other day, wondering how the hell anyone has it all together.

It’s wild how motherhood makes you rethink everything. I used to think being an adult meant having all the answers. Now, I realize it’s just about figuring things out as you go and hoping you don’t mess up too badly along the way. Some days, I feel like I’m absolutely crushing it—getting work done, being present with my daughter, making progress in my business. Other days? I’m just surviving. The laundry piles up, emails go unanswered, and I find myself snapping over the smallest things because I’m just tired.

I think about my daughter a lot in these moments. About how I want to give her everything I never had. Not just material things, but stability, peace, a sense of security that I had to fight to find as an adult. I want her to see a mom who goes after her dreams but also knows when to slow down. I want her to learn that success isn’t just about numbers or money—it’s about happiness, about fulfillment, about living life in a way that feels good.

But let’s be real—navigating this stage of life feels overwhelming sometimes. There’s this constant push and pull between hustling and resting, between showing up and stepping back. It feels like if you slow down, you’ll fall behind. But if you don’t slow down, you’ll burn out. And in the middle of all that, you’re just trying to be a good mom, a good friend, a good person.

It feels like so many people are struggling right now. Like we’re all just trying to hold it together, hoping that someday it won’t feel this heavy. And I guess that’s my hope too—for the rest of our lives, for our kids, for the next generation—that life doesn’t have to feel this hard forever.

But even in the mess, I see growth. I see myself becoming someone new. Someone stronger, someone who questions things more, someone who isn’t afraid to admit she doesn’t have it all figured out. And maybe that’s the point. Maybe we were never meant to have it all together, but instead, to just keep going, keep evolving, keep showing up even when we don’t feel like we’re enough.

I’ve been learning to redefine success for myself. To remind myself that growth isn’t always obvious. That just because I don’t see massive results overnight doesn’t mean I’m not making progress. That being present with my daughter, taking care of my mental health, and continuing to put one foot in front of the other is success in its own right.

So if you’ve been feeling it too—the heaviness, the doubt, the wondering if you’re enough—I just want you to know: you are. Even in the uncertainty, even in the struggle, even on the days where you feel like you’re failing. You are growing, you are learning, and you are doing better than you think.

And that? That’s enough.
